Open preparation for the work
- Open the story details in the app and find preparation in the venue and host area.
- Select the preparation venue when prompted. Resolve any identity or approval notice first.
- Review the host manual, chapters and materials currently accessible to you.
Turn the manual into an operating checklist
- Each stage’s purpose, entry condition, expected duration and ending condition.
- Which characters receive which materials, when, and what players do afterwards.
- Performance, physical props, audio and event coordination.
- How to communicate and respond if players get stuck, devices fail or someone needs to leave.
Rehearse against the checklist
Rehearse the introduction, reading, material delivery and transitions by stage. Check player visibility by recipient in the permitted testing flow. Note where you need improvised explanations, add host notes and identify questions for the creator.
Check that preparation is ready
- You can identify the next action without searching through materials.
- Access, materials, devices and event arrangements have been checked.
- Unresolved issues are recorded for checking before formal invitations.
