    Start writing your first Jubensha

Turn an intended player experience into something people can read, interact with and host.

    Before you start

This guide covers Jubensha in the Anzir app. Its hosting and per-session usage rules do not describe every Anzir product.

What you will be able to do:Write an outline ready for a small creation and testing cycle.

    On this page

    Start with the intended experience

Choose an approximate player count, language, duration and experience focus. In one sentence, describe who players are, what they face now and what feeling should remain at the end. Relationships, comedy, faction choices or deduction can all be starting points.

Give every character a reason to participate

    1. Outline prior events and relationships, then distinguish what each person knows, misbelieves and conceals.
    2. Give everyone a current goal and resources for conversation or action.
    3. Check for long periods of inactivity in each stage and adjust materials or tasks.

    Organise materials around player tasks

For each stage, define its entry condition, player task, materials, host actions and ending. When a conclusion is essential, provide multiple information paths players can cross-check. In conversational or emotional work, ensure everyone has something meaningful to respond to.

Turn the outline into a small test

    1. Write one segment with a clear ending and matching host instructions.
    2. Use a permitted testing method to observe understanding, participation and pacing, recording the actual version.
    3. Choose the next revision from observed facts before expanding the work.
