Choosing a Jubensha Story for Your Group
Find a Jubensha that fits your group’s interests, player count, language and time, with realistic expectations about hosting and participation.

Choose a Jubensha by the experience your group wants to share. A mystery can centre on investigating events, while other works emphasise relationships, comedy, strategy or competing factions. The best fit depends on your participants and the individual work.
Agree on the style of play
Discuss whether people want to solve a case, explore characters, cooperate on objectives or compete. Check content guidance and intensity before choosing. Avoid surprising someone with themes they would prefer not to experience.
Check people, language and time
Use the work’s published player range and estimated duration. Confirm that everyone is comfortable with the reading language and can stay for the full session. Leave time for setup and any closing discussion.
Plan the hosting setup
Check whether a Game Master, performers, equipment or a particular venue are required. App support does not remove those requirements. For online participation, check that the selected work supports it and agree on communication tools.
Go from discovery to a real session
The Library introduces works. Viewing an introduction does not book a venue, buy access or join a game. Confirm availability, access and any costs with the organiser before making plans.
Start with the Jubensha Library, read how the Anzir App supports play, or find a venue.
