Before you start
This guide covers Jubensha in the Anzir app. Its hosting and per-session usage rules do not describe every Anzir product.

Step into character and experience a story
Each player takes a prewritten character, reads the information they receive and experiences the story through conversation, interaction and the activities in that work. Drama, comedy, mystery, horror, strategy and factions can overlap. The mix depends on the story.
What a game usually involves
- Confirm player count, language, duration, content preferences and hosting requirements.
- Join the room, choose a character as arranged and read the opening material.
- Follow the host or story flow to talk, receive further material and take part in activities.
- Reach the story’s ending and discuss the experience together.
Relate it to familiar activities
D&D often leaves substantial room for improvised responses and open actions, including within prewritten adventures. Jubensha usually prepares character relationships, reading and a game flow in advance. Board-game mechanics, factions and deduction can appear too; murder mystery is one possible subject.
Questions to ask before your first game
- Can everyone commit the full time and stay involved?
- What language does it use, and are there themes anyone wants to avoid?
- What hosting, venue, performance, props and devices does it need?
Follow this guide and review the work’s conditions and fees in the product.
