In the year 2048, the Earth has become a desolate world. People are suffering, climate is shifting, and our technology is limited. Centuries of pollution, war, deforestation, and climate change have finally caught up to us. Humanity has done everything in their power to survive, but it is not enough. Our biggest problem is the level of impurities in the water supply. Without fresh water, life on Earth cannot survive. Soon our world will perish, and us with it. But there is still hope. In 2044 our space satellites have discovered Ambronoi, a distant barren planet that is protected by an ion barrier. Our intel shows that this planet contains a hard mineral substance called Ambronite. Our scientists believe that this natural resource can take the impurities out of water, making it clean and fresh again. With fresh water, life on Earth can flourish again, and we can save our world. To that end, all countries, and nations across the globe have joined forces to assemble the Salvage Mobile Unit, an elite team of soldiers, scientists, astronauts, and mechanics from all over the world. Their mission is to travel to the planet Ambronoi, salvage its Ambronite, and bring it back to Earth. Our planet's future is in their hands.
