In the heart of a forgotten town, nestled between shadowed woods and the remains of an abandoned industrial district, stands The Asylum of Renwick, a decaying facility once used to house the mentally ill. The asylum’s twisted history is shrouded in mystery and bloodshed, its walls hiding horrors that have only been whispered about in local folklore. Abandoned for nearly half a century, it has become a place that no one dares approach — yet, for reasons unknown, it draws the curious, the desperate, and the foolish. Renwick Asylum was founded in the early 1900s as a state-of-the-art facility for the mentally ill, but as the years passed, its purpose and the people who ran it became more sinister. What began as a place of supposed healing soon morphed into a nightmarish institution where grotesque experiments on the human body were conducted in the name of science. The asylum's administrators were obsessed with finding ways to cure mental illness, and their methods grew increasingly horrific, involving gruesome surgeries, unauthorized procedures, and unholy rituals. One such experiment, Project Eidos, aimed to transcend the limitations of the human body and mind. The goal was to merge human flesh with synthetic materials, creating a perfect hybrid of bone, skin, and steel — beings that could overcome physical death and eternal suffering. These monstrous attempts at “perfection” resulted in grotesque, nightmarish creatures that were neither human nor machine, trapped between life and death. But as time passed, the experiment spiraled out of control. The doctors and staff of Renwick Asylum disappeared under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind the tormented remains of their patients and their creations. The asylum was abandoned, its dark history buried under layers of dust and time. Yet the horrors that were unleashed within those walls did not stay dormant. Over the years, the land surrounding the asylum became a cursed place, whispered to be haunted by the tortured souls of the failed experiments.
